COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) – A 55-year-old Wyoming man suffered a broken leg when he was struck on a Coopersville street just before dawn this morning. Deputies say that James Schumacher had climbed out of his semi’s cab to retrieve paperwork strewn across Randall Street near 64th Avenue when he was hit by a car that didn’t see him in dark clothing with a flash light scampering on the roadway. He was listed in stable condition at Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital; the car driver wasn’t hurt. An investigation continues
