TALLMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 47-year-old Spring Lake woman was hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash north of Marne this morning. Deputies say that Lisa Peterson had overshot where she wanted to turn her SUV left from Ironwood Drive to 8th Avenue, went back and then proceeded to drive under a semi’s trailer heading in the opposite direction. She was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital in serious condition; the trucker, a 28-year-old Grand Rapids man, was not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
