Lansing (WHTC) – If there’s one thing that Michiganders universally complain about, it’s the condition of our roads. Potholes are constantly plaguing Michigan roads in the winter, and according to a national study by The Associated Press, The Great Lakes State is second only to Georgia for the worst federal funding for repairing public roads in the U.S. The study also found that Michigan ranked seventh lowest among states for federal transportation funding in 2013. As the ballot to raise taxes looms closer in the distance, Michigan voters will have a tough time deciding what’s worse: higher taxes, choppier roads, or dealing with construction work on our daily commutes.
