HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 53-year-old Allendale woman was unhurt but ticketed for causing a two-vehicle injury crash on Holland’s North Side around dawn this morning. Deputies say that Danette Otten turned from 96th Avenue north of Quincy Street into a driveway in front of Katie DeZwaan’s vehicle, causing the 35-year-old Zeeland mother to lose control and slam head on into the vehicle of 54-year-old Christie Cooke of Hudsonville, who was extricated and taken to Spectrum-Zeeland Community Hospital with serious injuries. DeZwaan and her two daughters, aged 8 and 6, suffered bumps and bruises.
