PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) – The West Ottawa Board of Education last night unanimously approved a 1.7 million-dollar allocation to build new entrances in all seven of the district’s elementary schools by the start of the 2016 Academic Year on September 8th. The money was part of the 90 million-dollar bond issue that voters approved last year. The board also endorsed the spending of 345 grand to buy four new buses, also from the bond proposal, with another 3.4 million to eventually go towards renovating the bus fleet.
