-HOLLAND, MI (WHTC)-West Ottawa school board has okayed $1.75 is Summer construction. Next Fall the entrances to 7 West Ottawa schools will have a new safer design as constructions bids were approved by the Board of Education last night. The board voted to allocate $1.7 million of the districts $90 million voter approved bond to summer construction projects. Of the $90 million, the district is planning to use $3.8 million on bus purchases.
Last night the board also approved a number of textbooks purchases for International Baccalaureate and Advanced placement classes.
