SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) – The Saugatuck-Douglas Visitors Bureau announced that the Lakeshore community has been nominated by USA Today’s editors for the “Best Coastal Small Town in America” award. The honor will be decided by readers of the national newspaper from among 20 finalists, with online voting to end on March 16th, and the winners to be announced the following morning. Saugatuck-Douglas won a similar “Best Weekend Getaway” nationwide online contest last year. A link to the contest is on the bureau’s website.
