-HOLLAND, MI (WHTC)-An 22 year Ottawa County man is facing multiple burglary and possession of stolen property charges in connection with a series of break-ins and larcenies from cars.
Captain Mark Bennett of the Ottawa Co Sheriffs Department, says the break ins started in the Summer of 2013 and continued until January before Alexander Michael Klassen was arrested during a routine traffic stop. Clawson has been linked to least 8 break in and 80 larcenies.
Electronics, money and guns were favored targets of the suspect.
At least $20,000 of items were taken with most of it already being sold off.Klassen is free on bond as he awaits trial. Klassen may also be suspected in similar incidents in Kent and Muskegon counties.
