GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Although only six inches of snow are expected, strong winds of up to 45 miles per hour that could lead to white-out visibility conditions, coupled by falling temperatures with wind chills well below zero, have compelled National Weather Service forecasters to issue a Winter Storm Warning for the Lakeshore counties through 10 PM tomorrow night. In Kalamazoo, a Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow and extreme cold begins at 7 PM this evening and goes through 10 tomorrow night.
