GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Sentencing is on March 23rd for a 22-year-old Jenison man who isn’t contesting a moving violation causing death count. Prosecutors say Max Jurewicz’s SUV ran a red light on 44th Street and Burlingame Avenue in Wyoming on September 13th and collided with a car, killing its driver Christian Goudy and injuring its passenger. Jurewicz claimed that the sun was in his eyes. The plea deal drops an injury count against him, but he could still get a year in jail and a license revocation for one year. Jurewicz is free on 500 dollars bond.
