HOLLAND,MI (WHTC)-Holland is set to be one of several pilot cities in an American Red Cross initiative to plan with community partners to meet needs following a disaster. Organizers have been working on the project for the past 4 months. The work the Red Cross and others sets those plans in motion, establishing partnerships with governments, nonprofits, faith based groups, community and industry leaders. A public meeting is set for 10am today at Herrick Library. By June the Red Cross plans to roll out complete plans.
