GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC) – A woman was struck by a car while crossing the street in Georgetown Township last night. Emily Chertos, a 26 year old woman from Grand Rapids, was crossing Baldwin Street near Sally Drive in Jenison when she was struck by 49-year-old Hudsonville resident Luis Diaz around 5 pm last night. Chertos is in stable condition at Butterworth Hospital, while Diaz was not injured in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
