ZEELAND (WHTC) – Zeeland is going to give Wintervention another go. The winter festival had been postponed last month because of lack of usable snow, but this past weekend’s winter storm has caused organizers to reschedule the event for this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants can come downtown to make snowmen – they’ll even provide you the carrots and the coal to decorate them. They’ll also be having Human Sled Dog Races, which were a huge hit last year. You can put together a team of one sled rider and four dogs – well, people – sleds will be provided. The sled dog race goes off at noon.
