GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – A 29-year-old Holland man pled guilty yesterday to felony assault charges stemming from an August 19th stabbing incident outside of an East 18th Avenue residence. Moises Castillo allegedly drew a knife during an altercation, wounding an unnamed 28-year-old man in the forehead and chest; the victim recovered from the attack. As part of the plea deal, additional charges were dropped. Castillo remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on 10 thousand dollars bond and could get between five months and nearly two years in prison when he is sentenced on March 2nd.
