KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) – A 63-year-old Allegan man died yesterday from injuries suffered in a crash two weeks earlier. Darrel Hitchcock’s dump truck had lost control on M-89 near Richland and crashed into a grove of trees. He succumbed at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Deputies initially believe that a blown tire caused the vehicle to skid off of the roadway, but a full investigation into the incident is ongoing.
