SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The Michigan Maritime Museum kicks off a five-month-long Winter Lecture Series at 2 PM this afternoon on its South Haven campus. Dr. Dan O’Keefe, a MSU Extension Southwest District Education Educator, will speak on “The Asian Carp, a Nuisance Species Threat.” This discussion comes days after Lansing Democrat Debbie Stabenow was named a co-chair of the US Senate Great Lakes Task Force that will coordinate efforts to protect against such threats as the Asian Carp.
