GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The Grand Haven Board of Education has retained educational consultant Mike Washburn in the search for a new superintendent. Keith Konarska announced last month that he would retire in June after 10 years at the post. Washburn, a retired former school administrator, has assisted other districts in searching for new leaders, including Zeeland when it hired Cal DeKuiper two years ago; ironically, he then helped Ludington schools when it had to replace DeKuiper.
