LANSING, MI (WHTC) – A 42-year-old physician’s assistant from South Haven has had his licenses summarily suspended by the state Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. James Wertheimer was found guilty last July in South Carolina of federal acquiring controlled substances by fraud charges and was sentenced to two-years of probation. This state’s license suspension stems from that felony conviction. Wertheimer can appeal this decision before an administrative law judge.
