LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Among eight persons reappointed by Governor Snyder yesterday to the state Workers Compensation Board of Magistrates was Chris Slater. It’s the second four-year term for the Spring Lake attorney with nearly two decades of experience in various fields. The 17-member panel hears administrative claims for benefits, and works to resolve disputes arising under Michigan’s Workers Disability Compensation Act. The Senate must sign off on these reappointments that run through early 2019.
