Smash-and-Grab Assaulter Sought on Holland’s North Side

HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – The search is on for a Hispanic man around 5-10 with a husky build who assaulted a Wal-Mart staffer while fleeing from the store on Holland’s North Side on January 8^th. The suspect had taken two Playstation units from a display and encountered the unnamed employee who tried to stop the theft; the victim suffered bumps and bruises. The suspect also attempted to steal merchandise from a nearby Best Buy store earlier in the day, but was thwarted by staffers there. Anyone with any information on the matter is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
