“A Time to Serve” has been a 15-year-long staple of the opening weeks of the Academic Year, as teams of freshmen under the guidance of upperclassmen leaders devote several hours towards meeting the needs of the needy while learning more about the Holland community.
Tomorrow, from 9 AM to 12 Noon, Hope students from all classes will give a helping hand with their time and labor, living out the legacy of service provided by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Wilma Hart is with Hope’s Office of Student Life.There are several campus community activities comprising Hope’s annual Civil Rights Celebration that runs through next Friday.
