HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – An unnamed 93-year-old Holland man was hospitalized after crashing his car on River Avenue near Holland City Hall yesterday morning. Public Safety officers say that the driver was apparently driving too fast for conditions around 7 AM and lost control when his northbound vehicle struck a traffic island near 11th Street. The car veered to the left and flipped over onto the sidewalk. Rescuers had to extricate the driver from his vehicle. There was no immediate word as to the driver’s condition.
