UNDATED (WHTC)- Holland High School joins agrowing list of schools observing Martin Luther King Day. Students will have a day off of school on the January 19th observation of the late Civil Rights Leader. Holland joins Holland Christian, Zeeland Public, Zeeland Christian and Saugatuck Public who also affords their students an off day.
Holland Public Schools wants to increase the cohesiveness of their district. School officials also hope to increase awareness on the virtues espoused by Dr.King. Students are encouraged to use the day by giving back to the community in a constructive way.
