Sentencing Today for Holland Woman in February 2014 Murder

GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – At least nine years in prison, with the possibility of 15, are ahead for Jodie McLean, as the 43-year-old Holland woman was sentenced this morning by Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Hulsing for the death of her 38-year-old roommate. Steven Gordon died of a single stab wound to the chest by a kitchen knife during an acrimonious altercation at an East 20^th Street rental home last February 19^th. McLean, who injured another person as two others attempted to break up the fight in her rage, didn’t contest a second-degree murder count in a plea deal with prosecutors last month.
