HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — As the investigation continued into a June 3, 2020, drive-by shooting on the 400 block of Holland’s West 21st Street, Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies assisted the Holland police in several ways.
No one was injured, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Jake Sparks. No shots were fired by deputies or those they were questioning, in the wake of the early morning drive-by shooting in Holland.
First, they tracked two possibly suspect vehicles that may have had connections to the shooting, making traffic stops near Riley Street and West Shore Drive as well as Waverly Shores near Waverly Harbor in Holland Township.
At 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sheriff’s Critical Response Team deputies assisted Holland police with a high-risk search warrant related to the earlier shooting, on South Traditions Way in Holland Township.
Police blocked the road for several minutes while the residence was secured.
