- Summary
- Today's headlines: A count of assault with intent to murder has been formally filed against a 17-year-old Park Township man stemming from a weekend stabbing at a 114th Avenue apartment unit; the shovels have turned and construction has begun, but the battle over a development in one of the Lakeshore’s more affluent neighborhoods apparently continues: in the aftermath of last Friday’s school shootings in Connecticut, local administrators are taking a second and third look at their own district’s security measures; House Speaker John Boehner is preparing a “plan B” to prevent the federal government from going off of the “fiscal cliff” if a compromise with the White House can’t be reached by the end of the month; a limited slate of high school basketball games are on tap along the Lakeshore tonight; a little touch of winter, but nothing too much yet for the Lakeshore.
