HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The City of Holland is sharing the cost of a tree to be planted in your front yard. It’s part of an effort to increase Holland’s Urban Tree Canopy.
The program requires a 50/50 share of the total cost of the tree to be planted. Up to $150.00 would be the homeowners cost. The first 75 property owners to sign up at the City of Holland Parks Department will be eligible for a tree to be planted in the Fall of 2017.
You can fill out the application online or head to the City of Holland Park Department located at 429 E. 24th Street.
Applications will be taken until October 1, 2017.
