CASCO TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A woman was hospitalized after what authorities believe was a propane gas explosion and fire at a home between Pullman and Grand Junction on Sunday afternoon.
South Haven Area Emergency Services units and crews from four neighboring departments responded to the call around 12:30 PM at a home off of 104th Avenue near 60th Street. The explosion and fire destroyed the residence, and the unnamed occupant was taken to Bronson Burn and Wound Center in Kalamazoo for treatment. No injuries were reported among first responders.
The specific cause of the incident wasn’t immediately determined as the matter remains under investigation.
