HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A public meeting on this season’s work — planned for M-40, between 134th and 124th avenues — is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Heath Township Hall, 3440 M-40 in Hamilton, by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
The plan includes resurfacing M-40 between 136th and 134th avenues, with chip sealing between 134th and 124th avenues (M-89 west).
MDOT officals said the road work will improve traffic mobility, increase safety and extend the service life of the road.
MDOT officials will review plans for the work, in the City of Hamilton, including scheduling and traffic information. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend.
The open house will include an opportunity for people to provide feedback and comments to MDOT.
People with disabilities and limited English speaking ability can get special accommodations: Large print materials, auxiliary aids or the services of interpreters, signers, or readers available upon request. Call (517) 373-9534 before the meeting to ask for help.
