HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — This week, 54 high school students are visiting Holland and working in smaller groups to lend a hand.
A dozen or so high school studeentt dopped by Holland Department of Public Safety’s Eighth Street office today, Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Rebecca Steigenga, a volunteer youth leader for Evergreen Ministries, said it’s part of a week-long mission for the students, who are working in smaller groups around Holland.
Steigenga said they would probably do some weeding and cleaning for around the Holland police facility — and they brought along two big boxes of DeBoer’s donuts to give the officers.
