High school basketball on Wednesday night saw Black River split a pair of games with visiting Creative Tech, with the River Rats taking the girls’ opener, 54-10, but the guests won the boys’ nightcap, 51-43. On Thursday evening, Calvary’s girls are scheduled to play at West Catholic.

CJ Miles came off of the bench to tally 21 points as the Toronto Raptors downed the visiting Detroit Pistons at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday night, 96-91. Detroit is home to the Washington Wizards at Little Caesars Arena on Friday evening.
Klay Thompson had 38 points and Stephen Curry added 30 as the visiting Golden State Warriors defeated the Bulls at the United Center on Wednesday night, 119-112. Chicago takes on the Hawks in Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Saturday evening.

Trevor Murphy’s goal with less than seven minutes left capped a three-goal third period for Milwaukee as the visiting Admirals rallied past the Grand Rapids Griffins in Van Andel Arena on Wednesday night, 4-3. The two teams have a rematch at Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Panther Arena on Friday evening.
