HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – If the weather cooperates, two new traffic signals will be operational above two intersections on Holland’s North Side today.
A contractor for the Ottawa County Road Commission has installed the devices over Riley Street at 104th Avenue and at 112th Avenue, replacing four-way stops that had been in place at those two corners. Increasing traffic volumes on the roadway that connects the northern edge of Zeeland with US-31 was the main reason for the move.
These will be the second and third traffic signals in use over Riley Street between 96th Avenue/State Street and 120th Avenue.
