HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland Public Safety is seeking a man who allegedly held up the Macatawa Bank branch on Maple Avenue yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after 3 PM, the suspect, described as an Hispanic male with a grey hoodie, black mask, sweat pants and white/red sneakers, walked into the building. Reportedly holding a short handgun, he demanded money from the tellers and received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. No one inside of the bank branch was harmed. Despite the establishment of a perimeter and the deployment of a canine unit, the suspect was able to escape immediate capture.
