HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – If ever three persons wanted to make a good impression, today is the day.
Ottawa County Deputy Administrator Keith Van Beek, Redford Township Supervisor Tracey Schultz Kobylarz and Novi Assistant City Manager Victor Cardenas will go before a select panel today in the search for a new Holland City Manager. Those three emerged from 60 applicants and seven semifinalists to be considered for replacing Ryan Cotton, who had stepped down last June.
Van Beek, Schultz Kobylarz and Cardenas were scheduled yesterday to tour the Tulip City and meet with the city’s leadership team and staff. Following today’s interview, there will be a two-hour public reception at 5 PM in Council Chambers at Holland City Hall.
The search committee will make a recommendation tomorrow for council’s consideration in next Wednesday night’s bi-weekly business meeting.
