Francisco Perez and James Karinchak teamed on a no-hitter in the opener, striking our five in the process of a 4-0 victory. Nolan Jones’ two-run homer in the first inning ignited a Captains’ rally from a 3-0 deficit to a 6-3 triumph in the nightcap.
