The ATHENA Award is awarded to someone who demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession. Someone who provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.

The 13th ATHENA awards luncheon takes place Tuesday, October 3rd from 11:30-1:30 p.m. at the Trillium Center in Spring Lake. Patti Poppe, President and CEO of Consumers Energy will be the keynote speaker.
The Lakeshore ATHENA Awards program is a collaboration of shoreline area communities – The Chamber of Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg; the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce; and the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce.
