HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Pioneer Resources, Inc. of Muskegon is a nonprofit corporation offers a diverse array of individualized supports for persons with disabilities will now have their own office space in Holland..
Not only does Pioneer Resources offer services for governmental units and schools that serve children and adults with disabilities but they also provide housing, transportation services, food service, catering, custodial services, employment and vocational instruction, independent living and recreation in Western Michigan.
A recent $20,000 Grant has been used to renovate the new Holland location. The renovations were made possible through the Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland area. The redesigned floor plan will accommodate the current transportation services for seniors served by Evergreen Commons, but will also allow for the expansion of Pioneer’s services into Ottawa County – Autism services, Leisure and Recreation Club (LARC), and Community Living Support services.
Tonight the public is invited to an open house from 4-6:00 p.m. to learn more and to meet those individuals directly involved with Pioneer’s programs, as well as tour the new facility. Executive Director Jill Bonthuis will be on hand with special remarks and a question and answer session at 5:30 p.m.
