ALLENDALE TWP, MI (WHTC) – Two men received head injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Allendale Township.
Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Lake Michigan Drive and 96th Avenue in Allendale Township around 8:30 on Saturday morning , May 13.
Sgt. Bob Ruster says 34-year-old Timothy Keurh of Marne was driving a 2006 Mazda 6 was westbound on Lake Michigan Drive waiting to turn onto 96th Avenue when he was rear-ended by 21-year-old Griffen Dwyer of Allendale who was also driving a 2003 Mazda 6.
After the crash, Keurh’s vehicle traveled off to the southwest corner of the intersection and struck a utility pole.
Keurh was transported to Spectrum Hospital with a head injury in stable condition. Dwyer was transported to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon also for a head injury.
The crash remains under investigation.
