HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Center for Women in Transition (CWIT) has appointed a new Executive Director.
The board of directors of the Center is proud to announce the appointment of Beth Larsen. According to a press release, Larsen began her work in the field of domestic and sexual violence more than 19 years ago. From 2007 to 2013, she managed CWIT’s non-residential supportive services. With a desire to further diversify her skills, Larsen joined the leadership team at the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation as the Director of Grants and Nonprofit Services.
Larsen returns to the Center following her most recent role as the Director of Pathways, MI – now a program of Arbor Circle. Over the last 8 months, Larsen led Pathways through an organizational merger with Arbor Circle.
Larsen currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Lakeshore Housing Alliance and is the Treasurer of both the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance and the Grand Haven Rotary Club.
Beth currently lives in Grand Haven with her husband, Joe, and their two sons, Andrew and Owen.
The CWIT is gearing up for their annual Reach for the Stars Gala is Thursday, April 20 at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville. Tickets may be purchased online and are $100.00 if purchased before March 31 or $125.00 after that date.
