HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Kids’ Food Basket of Holland is holding its annual “Go Orange” Campaign this week in their ongoing effort to end childhood hunger in West Michigan.
Orange is the color that represents childhood hunger and you’re asked to wear the color today to show support. On May of 2015, Kids’ Food Basket of Holland introduced their Sack Supper program at Holland Heights K-7 and Woodside Elementary. They now serve over 500 suppers every week.
Area restaurants are participating today, March 24. You’re asked to notify wait staff that you are there for Kids’ Food Basket Go Orange.
At Butch’s Dry Dock – Go Orange Dine Out., 10% of all proceeds today will go towards Kid’s Food Basket. They are located at 44 East 8th Street in Holland.
At New Holland Brewing – Go Orange Dine Out, you will have the option to round up your bill to benefit Kids’ Food Basket, and raise awareness for the 1 in 5 children in Michigan affected by hunger. New Holland Brewing is located at 66 E 8th St, Holland, MI 49423
