HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Tulip Time Festival announces that Governor Rick Snyder will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Festival Luncheon. This is Governor Snyder’s seventh appearance at the Festival Luncheon which is presented by Huntington Bank. Tulip Time’s Executive Director, Gwen Auwerda, will host the event.
In addition to Governor Snyder and Lt. Governor Calley, other special guests this year include, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Consulate General of Japan, Consul General of China, and several State level legislators and officials. Following the luncheon, Governor Snyder, joined by several other dignitaries, will be participating in the Metal Flow Volksparade.
The over 900 expected luncheon attendees have traditionally been a mix of Tulip Time corporate sponsors, local business leaders, and State Legislators.
The Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 10 at the DeVos Fieldhouse. Doors open at 11:00a. Luncheon tickets are $50 per person for main floor seating, and $40 per person for the concourse level. Tickets are now available for purchase online or by calling the Tulip Time Festival office at 616-396-4221. Seating is limited.
