TALMADGE TWP., MI (WHTC) – Two people were sent to Butterworth hospital early Saturday morning after a crash in Talmadge Township.
A 37-year-old man from the Caledonia area was airlifted to Butterworth Hospital in critical condition at around 3 a.m. Saturday morning after a two-car injury crash. The man’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
The Caledonia man was hit by a juvenile driver from Grand Rapids at the intersection of Ironwood Dr. and Johnson St and was pinned inside of his vehicle until the Marne Fire Department was able to extricate him. While The Caledonia man was heavily injured, the juvenile was transported privately to Butterworth Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The incident is still under investigation.
