HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Congressman Bill Huizenga is stopping in Grand Haven on the second stop of his listening tour.
The Zeeland Congressman says the town hall style listening session will be held in the auditorium of Lakeshore Middle School on Monday, March 6 and is open to all residents of Michigan’s Second Congressional District.
“You know this is something I’ve been doing since I was in the State House. I helped Pete Hoekstra get prepared and do town hall meetings during the Bill Clinton impeachment. Having contentious robust is not something new to me. I embrace it.”
Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. at the school located at 900 Cutler Street in Grand Haven and the town hall will be from,7-9 p.m.
Signs will not be permitted in the auditorium. Those who would like to display signs are welcome to do so outside the middle school prior to the event. Congressman Huizenga’s first listening tour stop took place in Baldwin on February 25th and was attended by over 300 people.
