UNDATED (WHTC) – Robinson Cano’s solo homer off of the Cubs’ Wade Davis in the top of the 10th inning enabled the American League to edge the National League in Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game at Miami last night, 2-1. Davis allowed two hits with one strikeout in one inning of pitching to suffer the loss. For the Junior Circuit, the Tigers’ Justin Upton singled in two at-bats, while Avisail Garcia of the White Sox went 0-2 at the plate. Regular season play resumes on Friday evening, with the Tigers hosting Toronto (broadcast at 6:45 PM on 1450 WHTC and the new 99.7 FM), the Cubs in Baltimore and the White Sox home to Seattle.
