GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – Mother Nature will provide the perfect backdrop this weekend for Grand Haven’s Winterfest.
Fun in the snow all weekend long with activities for adults and kids. Friday evening duck inside and check out Winterfest photographs from years past at the the Tri-Cities Historical Museum from 5-8 p.m. located in the Akeley Building at 200 Washington Avenue in Grand Haven. Afterwards the Intergalactic Human Sled Race takes place in the Harborfront parking lot at 8 p.m. Registration is at 7 p.m. and it’s free with sleds provided.
Saturday, January 28, will feature all sorts of family fun like the Family Dog Pull, Cardboard Sled Race, Kids Day and a Snow Angel Contest.
Several events will support the Save the Catwalk in Grand Haven project like the Dumpster Dive, Sleepwalker Run and a Beer and Wine Tasting event at the Eagle’s lodge.
