HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Zeeland Congressman Bill Huizenga will meet with constituents face to face in a town hall style listening session this weekend.
This comes on the heels of several organizations in West Michigan who have rallied at his Grandville office demanding a face to face town hall meeting.
The town hall style listening session is reserved for Second District residents and will be Saturday, February 25 at Baldwin Senior High School in Lake County. It takes place in the cafeteria at 12 p.m. located at 525 4th Street in Baldwin.
The event was to coincide with the Congressional Snowmobile Ride but the ride has been canceled due to a lack of snow.
In order to ensure residents in the northern portion of the Second District have the opportunity to express their opinions to Congressman Huizenga, an alternative location was selected for the town hall listening session.
Congressman Huizenga will be holding a second listening tour stop in early March in the southern portion of the Second District.
