HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A Lakeshore-based startup company has received a grant that officials say will help accelerate development of alternative energy for household use.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Synergy Power founder Emil Ureel said that he had worked on the concept of designing a device about the size of a kitchen table to power an entire family’s home with little more than hot and cold water. His “Synergine” will be connected to a wood boiler at a home-based machine shop connected to a West Olive residence this fall, and Ureel says that his company’s creation would provide continuous power to the shop, with the possibility of supporting all of a building’s power needs.
Synergy landed 10 thousand dollars worth of service from the Business Accelerator Fund through the support of ACRE AgTech, Lakeshore Advantage and the MiSpringboard program of Varnum Law.
