GRAND HAVEN TWP, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 24-year-old Grand Haven woman is in guarded condition after a five-vehicle crash..
The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, south of Grand Haven near Ferris Street in Grand Haven Township. Sgt. Cal Kuening with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says a 30-year-old Grand Haven man whose name is not being released pending investigation, failed to stop at a red light.
The man’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Brittany Bunker of Grand Haven. Bunker then hit a vehicle in front of her which then led that vehicle to hit another vehicle. The 30-year-old man’s vehicle then hit a fifth vehicle.
Bunker was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital with a head injury. No other drivers were injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
