HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – During the month of April, the Ottawa County Prescription Drug and Opiate Taskforce is encouraging the public to help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse. Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends
You can can drop off their prescription medications at any one of the sites listed below during regular business hours. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
