SAUGATUCK TWP., MI (WHTC) – A week after a convenience store was held up near Saugatuck, authorities are looking for the public’s help in apprehending the suspect.
The Saugatuck-Douglas Police Department issued a notice stemming from the incident at the Lakeshore Convenience Store off of the Blue Star Highway. Around 10:10 PM on Friday, April 7th, a man in his 20’s, about 5-6, walked in, indicated to the clerk on duty that he was armed, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled south in a red full-size pickup truck. A blonde-haired woman was sitting in the passenger seat of the cab. The clerk was shaken but unhurt.
